And this brings our prologue to a close.

Yes, UFO culture is alive, well, and kind of a thing in Autumn Bay.

Let's unpack this one a bit.

Both Roswell (site of an alleged UFO crash) and Dulce (which allegedly lies near a top-secret alien base) are in New Mexico (where Felicia is headed). Majestic-12 may be based there as well.

That's right. There are, in fact, competing conspiracies that utilize agents in black suits... :)

Do you remember seeing Special Agent Johnson before?

Also, just like Season One, we'll be shifting focus for the main part of the season. Don't worry, we'll see Felicia and company again...

- Ooh, a map! Does it show the bay of... well, Autumn Bay?

- Does the last panel mean that Mr. Shelby's office is in ye olde ominous Chapel Enterprises tower, or is this again just the equivalent of the "when in Paris, show the Eiffel Tower" shot? (I mean, one automatically assumes that the MIB is working for the government, not for a privately owned company...)

- RIP Agent Brown. Your awesomely theatrical demeanor didn't save you from stabby retribution.

- Agent Brown. Agent Johnson. Do the MIBs all have super-inconspicuous sounding names? (Agent Miller. Agent Taylor. Agent Jackson. Agent Henson...)

1) That map is accurate to the location of Autumn Bay if Autumn Bay were real. The "bay" in this case pertains to Lake Ontario.

2) The latter. There is a reason that Chapel Tower looms over every applicable shot of Autumn Bay, but Shelby's office is not in it.

And no, I can't tell you where it is, though. I think that might be treason...

3) Captain Happy doesn't get mad, he gets stabby... :P

4) Those are simply their names. It is helpful in their line of work if they do have innocuous names, but it's not a requirement...

Nice map of north-central New York. I presume these guys will also be responsible for chasing down certain fugitives to Canada... or maybe there's an extradition treaty?

And so true, there's no enemy so dangerous to a government agency as another government agency doing more or less similar work!

Thanks! I can't claim full credit, though. The map was already extant. I just "borrowed" it.

Now these fugitives... are they by any chance paranormal (or involved in similar)? If not, then they aren't exactly in this organization's purview. (Would that stop them, though, if push came to shove? Enquiring minds want to know!)

I am fully aware of the tendency for government agencies to get into (territorial) pissing contests... :P

(I imagine it gets icky when one or more of the agencies is entrenched in a more-or-less illegal conspiracy within the US government... #DeepStateIndeed)

Nah, I work for a government agency and we don't get into pissing matches with any other agencies... They all know that if they tried to cross into our territory, we'd destroy them.

Mortals cannot grasp the true Truth, not in its entirety. To do so would drive one mad.

All we can do is try and make meaning out of the bits we can see and feel, which leads to billions of different versions of truth.

And then there are those who hold a slightly bigger slice of the Truth pie and want or need to hold on to it while keeping others away.

Partially, having a bigger slice might give you power over those with less. Sadly, this is the way of a lot of things.
