Swinging the PoV back to our team, here we see part of Agent Johnson's investigative process: the "murder board", much the same as one might use in a homicide investigation.

He might be on to something here, but what?

Well, he's gotta do something to measure up to the badass quotient of the rest of the team. He's not as physically impressive as Bishop and Lake. He doesn't have the weaponized chill of Danny-Boy. Kadira has the whole "sexy spy" thing, and Falchionne can ruin lives with a few keystrokes.

In all seriousness, though, Johnson's sunglasses are a tool in and of themselves, useful even indoors.
